Assistant Professor of Communications Melissa Click of Mizzou has been ‘canned’ for good from the university after the maniacal and criminal spectacle she made of herself against a Mizzou student pressman back in February. On February 25, 2016, Click was charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor that carries a maximum sentence of 15 days in jail and a $300 fine after getting ‘in the face’ of student journalist Tim Tai.
From the time of her dismissal Clicks demeanor moved from the angry and self-righteous, hypocrite, to the poor victim as all good progressive liberals do. After her performance and being fired for her thuggish behavior, she went on trying to defend herself. However, even though she says she knows what she did was wrong, Click went on to file an appeal; perhaps thinking that it’s okay for her to act as she did, just not others (very typical of the progressive liberal). Click, 45, said the governing board “is using me as a scapegoat…”, branding herself the victim.
On March 15, 2016, Melissa Clicks appeal was DENIED by the The University of Missouri Board of Curators.
In any event, I leave it to you to decide for yourself. Is it OK for the Communications Professor Melissa Click to assault a student journalist, while ‘protecting’ the rights of other students during the protest in the video below? All sarcasm aside, something tells me this is not the last we will hear of the ‘martyr’ Click.
